Official website and legal information for Simple row counter.
Last updated: September 23, 2026
Simple row counter is provided as a row counting tool for knitting and crochet, on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Android.
Users are responsible for their own projects and data. The app is provided without a guarantee that it will meet every use case or remain available on every device.
Cloud sync is optional. When enabled, it stores the app’s sync data in the user’s own cloud account: iCloud on Apple platforms, or the Google Drive app data folder on Android.
Users can turn sync off at any time. On iOS, users can delete the app’s iCloud data from the iOS Settings; on Android, users can remove the app’s Google access from their Google Account settings.
Counting is free on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. Watch counting and its paired-phone connection do not require a purchase. A one-time, non-consumable purchase unlocks pattern PDFs and iCloud synchronization on Apple platforms. It does not renew automatically.
Instead of buying right away, a user who has never used it may start an optional seven-day trial of these two features, offered as a free in-app item. The trial starts only when the user chooses it and ends seven days later. It never turns into a charge: afterwards, pattern PDFs and iCloud sync require the one-time purchase, while counting, projects, counters and imported PDF files remain on the device. The trial can be used once per Apple Account.
Purchases, trials and restoration are handled through the App Store. The applicable local price is shown before purchase.
On Android, Simple row counter offers a 7-day free trial managed by Google Play. After the trial, continued use requires an auto-renewing subscription, available as a monthly or yearly plan.
Subscriptions are billed through your Google Play account. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically at the then-current price. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Google Play account settings. Prices may vary by country.
If you cancel, access continues until the end of the current trial or billing period unless Google Play states otherwise.
An Apple purchase does not unlock the Android app.
